Case Study

Battersea

Located within London’s landmark Grade II* listed Battersea Power Station development with the River Thames as backdrop, it was essential for Wright Brothers’ fifth restaurant to have a sense of establishment.

Heritage and tradition are an integral aspect to Wright Brothers’ seafood brand, so our aim was to design a restaurant that reflected these values. Warmth and age exude from a mixture of reclaimed materials and bespoke fixtures and features, including pendant light fittings and marble counters. Specially-commissioned artwork of illustrated ingredients communicates provenance and Wright Brothers’ ‘from sea to plate’ ethos.

While they eat at the counter, guests can watch the expert seafood chefs lovingly preparing the best ingredients in the open theatre-style kitchen. With its Josper charcoal oven and an oyster display on the bar, the kitchen is at the heart of the restaurant.

It prides itself on the preparation, display and service of simple and honest cuisine and the finest quality seafood and crustacea in the country.
