London

Arcade Food Theatre is housed within a Grade II listed modernist building designed by R. Seifert & Partners in 1966. Originally a bus garage, the 12,500 sq ft space has been transformed into a playhouse for culinary experimentation. With seven kitchen brands, three bars, and a bakery, Arcade offers an all-day food experience that focuses on music, art, and design. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by an ovular-shaped central island bar that sits beneath Marco Brambilla’s digital artwork. Mid-century inspired light fixtures and bespoke furniture upholstered in leather, suede and cord are juxtaposed with the building’s listed features. Arcade’s unique material palette includes finishes such as terrazzo, marble, formica, marmoleum, and polished concrete. A bespoke lighting gantry illuminates each food theatre kitchen and dining space, while the open-kitchen timber rafts   are highlighted by warm-coloured LED lighting.
